• Sum Assured: The scheme provides up to ₹5 lakh per family per year for hospitalization and surgical procedures.
  • Ro ₹1 lakh per year for secondary ailments.
  • Ro ₹1 lakh per year for secondary ailments.
• Cashless Treatment: Beneficiaries receive comprehensive medical coverage at empanelled hospitals across India, eliminating the need for out-of-pocket expenses.
• Pre-Existing Disease Coverage: Unlike many other health insurance programs, CMAAY covers pre-existing conditions from the very first day of enrollment.

Scope of Coverage :

The risk cover under CMAAY includes a wide range of medical and surgical care services, ensuring that beneficiaries receive holistic treatment without financial burden. The scheme covers:

• Hospitalization Expenses: All costs associated with in-patient treatments.
• Surgical and Medical Procedures: Coverage for both planned and emergency surgeries and treatments.
• Follow-Up Care Benefits: Ensuring continuity of treatment post-discharge.
• Pre and Post-Hospitalization Expenses: Covers diagnostic tests, consultations, and medicines before and after hospitalization (up to 10 days post-discharge).

CMAAY has an extensive network of empanelled hospitals within Arunachal Pradesh and across India, ensuring accessibility to the best healthcare facilities. The scheme is managed by the State Health Agency (SHA), Arunachal Pradesh, which oversees its implementation and smooth functioning.
