Criteria


The Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) provides cashless healthcare coverage to eligible residents of Arunachal Pradesh. Below are the categories of beneficiaries who qualify for the scheme:

Eligible Beneficiaries :

  • Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Members – All APST residents of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • State Government Employees & Pensioners – Regular state government employees and pensioners, along with their dependent family members.
  • Non-APST Permanent Residents – Residents of Changlang, Lohit, and Namsai districts holding valid Resident Certificates (RCs) issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Working Journalists – State-accredited journalists registered with the Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) and Arunachal Press Club (APC).

Non-Eligible Categories:

The following individuals do not qualify for CMAAY benefits:

  • Employees of the Central Government and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

Documents Required for Enrollment

To enroll under CMAAY, beneficiaries must provide the following documents:

For APST Members:
  • Tribe Certificate (Issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Family Details (Family Tree Certificate or Ration Card)
For State Government Employees & Pensioners:
  • Government Employee ID Card / PPO (for pensioners)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Family Details (Family Tree Certificate or Ration Card)
For Non-APST Permanent Residents of Changlang, Lohit, and Namsai:
  • Resident Certificate (RC) issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Family Details (Family Tree Certificate or Ration Card)
For State Working Journalists:
  • Accreditation Certificate from APUWJ or APC
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Family Details (Family Tree Certificate or Ration Card)

Enrollment Process

Eligible individuals can enroll for CMAAY through the following methods:

  • CMAAY Kiosks: Visit the nearest empaneled hospital for on-site registration.
  • Online Registration: Apply via the official CMAAY website or the Arogya Arunachal App.
  • Common Service Centers (CSCs): Registration can also be done at designated CSCs across the state.
